Little Skillet

The Little-No-Longers are visiting which means a wonderful excuse to enjoy some of the best food the bay has to offer. They came armed with a list of food they are dying to try as well as metabolisms of steel (seriously, how these two can eat so much and weigh so little is a question for science). First stop for breakfast- Little Skillet.

Little Skillet is a small walk up counter located near the ball park. It has a limited menu but really you can't go wrong with the traditional southern fare.

I was all set to order my usual chicken and waffle meal, when a special caught my eye- bacon waffle dog. Yep, it's a sausage wrapped in bacon atop a crispy waffle. Needless to say, I had to try it. What's better than chicken and waffles? Waffles and bacon!
