It's our summer associate's last week with us, so I decided to take him to lunch at Tamarine, a Vietnamese fusion restaurant in downtown and arguably one of the best restaurants in Palo Alto. In typical Silicon Valley fashion, our dining neighbors were name dropping and closing deals but we were more focused on the roti and shaking beef.

Make reservations just in case. Get the shaking beef, unless you're vegetarian and then get it any way and call it a 1 day exemption. It's just that good.
